Aim
To showcase a selection of Irish Draught Stallions available to breeders and give breeders the opportunity to see the stallions side by side and determine which will prove the most suitable cross for their individual mare.

Entry Fee
RDS Members: €250 each entry; Non-Members: €290 each entry.

Rules
Stallions should be appropriately tacked with an in-hand bridle with a bit and a leather lead shank of a minimum length of 12ft.
Double bridles are not permitted.

1st €1,800, 2nd €1,200, 3rd €800, 4th €600, 5th €400, 6th €300, 7th €200, 8th €200

Parade
There will be a parade of stallions at the 2024 Dublin Horse Show. This parade will take place on Thursday 15 August. It is compulsory for Irish Draught stallions to participate in this parade. Further details are available here.
Judging of Irish Draught stallions will take place on Friday 16 August.
