Aim
To promote, present and preserve the art of side-saddle riding.

RDS Members: €380 each entry; Non-Members: €420 each entry.

Rules
The rider's ability and turnout, and the way of going, manners, conformation and movement of the horse will be considered as part of the adjudication.
Riders who have attained their 16th birthday by 1 January 2026 and are entered in the Intermediate Side-Saddle, Class 28 may also compete in this class provided they are eligible and have qualified.
Horse and rider combinations who are entered in the Ladies' Side-Saddle, Class 27 are not eligible to compete in the Intermediate Side-Saddle, Class 28.

Qualification
The top three horse and rider combinations at each of the qualifiers will be eligible to enter the Dublin Horse Show.

Cup No. 50 - Perpetual Challange Trophy presented to the winner of the Ladies' Side-Saddle class.
Cup No. 160 - Perpetual Challenge Cup presented to the winning rider in the Ladies' Side-Saddle class.
