Canadian legend, Ian Millar to give Master Classes at the RDS Dublin Horse Show

The RDS is thrilled to announce that Olympic medallist and international showjumping legend, Ian Millar will be giving master classes at this year's RDS Dublin Horse Show, which takes place from Wednesday, the 6th to Sunday, the 10th of August.

With a career spanning over five decades, Ian Millar has amassed an impressive collection of accolades, including numerous Olympic and World Championship medals, as well as multiple FEI World Cup titles.  Remarkably, Captain Canada as he is affectionately known in the sport, holds the record for the most Olympic appearances by any athlete in any sport.   As one of the most successful showjumpers in the world, Millar has represented Canada at ten Olympic Games and won countless international competitions.

Millar is set to give three master classes on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the Show.  His training techniques and advice is highly sought after and widely acclaimed by riders and trainers worldwide.  His expertise has helped riders of all levels improve their skills and achieve their goals.  During the master classes, Millar will share his insights on optimising horse and rider performance, navigating complex courses, and building a winning mindset.  Spectators will have the opportunity to learn from one of the world's top showjumpers and gain valuable knowledge to enhance and advance their riding skills and careers.
