Why have ticket prices increased?

The Dublin Horse Show is a not-for-profit event delivered through the RDS Foundation. Despite significant cost increases facing all events and industries, the Dublin Horse Show has been benchmarked against similar festivals and ticket prices have been set where we are confident that we continue to offer a superior event and attractions at a better price point.

Accessibility Queries:

Are there accessible viewing areas on the campus?

There are a limited number of accessible viewing platforms around each of the competition rings that are available without additional charge for General Admission ticket holder who are confined to a wheelchair.  Only one carer per wheelchair user is permitted and that carer may be required to stand. These areas are offered on a first come-first served basis.

For the main arena, a ticket to an accessible viewing area must be bought. Each tickets permits a wheelchair user and a companion to enter this section. For additional companions, we recommend purchasing a seat directly in front of the Accessible area.

Does each accessible ticket sold allow for a companion to attend?

Yes. Please specify the number of companions that will attend. One of the companions will be processed free of charge on checkout.

In what section should non-wheelchair users with restricted mobility purchase seats.

We recommend purchasing seats at lower levels close to pitch-side if still available.

Are there accessible toilets on site?

Accessible toilets are available in the Angelsea Stand, behind the Grandstand and in the Dodder block adjacent to Ring 2.

What mobility aids are permitted on site?

Wheelchairs, crutches and walking frames are permitted. Electric/battery powered mobility scooters cannot be facilitated.

Is there disabled parking on site?

There is no parking available on site. This DHS is a no-parking event for all attendees. A Park & Ride shuttle service operates from UCD to the RDS throughout the show, providing convenient drop‑off directly at the Hall 1 main entrance. The service runs continuously during event hours and uses fully wheelchair‑accessible shuttle buses, ensuring comfortable and inclusive transport for all attendees.

Where is the closest drop-off point?

We recommend dropping off on the Merrion Road if traffic permits or at the entrance to the InterContinental hotel.

Is there a fast-track entrance available?

Customers who notify DHS ambassadors of their mobility restrictions at the entrance to the campus will be fast tracked to the top of the entrance queues.
